Nani Iro
Naomi Ito is the artist and designer behind the popular Nani Iro fabrics, books and clothing patterns. Her watercolor approach to surface design is reproduced on lovely natural fibers, predominantly cotton double gauze and breezy linens, and are produced in Japan.
Impeccable Patterns
This bold design is printed on an 85% cotton/15% linen substrate.
Pastel Linens
Solid linen sheeting that is reminiscent of a true handkerchief linen. There is something so special about the hand of these pieces. We are in awe!
Iro Grey
A linen/cotton gauze, this fabric has to be seen in person to really convey its properties. We also have it in a wash of yellows.
Silk Cottons
80% cotton/20% silk twill, these dreamy fabrics are perfect for tops and have even been purchased for linings!
Dark Florals
More 80% cotton/20% silk twills, though this time in deeper colors.
Tiny blues
Cotton double gauze is so soft next to one’s skin! Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for tops, dresses, caftans and pajamas. Easily cared for, it retains a flat surface through multiple washings.
Bright Linens
Same lovely linen sheeting as the pastels, this time in stronger colors.
Pattern flowers
Same pattern, different substrates. From the bottom: cotton double gauze, organic cotton double gauze (stiffer texture) and organic cotton lawn.
Amazing Patterns
Cotton/linen blends can become addictive. From the left, a sheeting, a twill and a double gauze. So breathable and easy to care for.
Patterns
Cotton double gauze in a range of colors and patterns. So soft, yet easy to work with.
Yellows and Purples
A cotton double gauze, this piece is printed in tiers, giving the illusion of multiple layers! We also have it in shades of black, grey and dusky blue.
Pink Dots
Cotton double gauze in whimsical dots, forming larger circular patterns. Light, airy and so soft to the touch!
Brown Stripes
Cotton double gauze with tiered stripes and metallic gold accents.
Brown Stripes
Linen canvas, these pieces are a bit heavier with more body. Great for jackets, tops, skirts or dresses.
After the Rain
Cotton double gauze with feathered chevrons and surprising little pops of the spectrum.
Petal Pattern
Cotton double gauze with painterly flower petals and subtle pearlescent ink.
Striking. Subtle. Sumptuous.
